About CareConnect

A community initiative providing free, practical home care training for families and communities in rural Zimbabwe.

The Problem We Are Solving

In rural Zimbabwe, elderly people with mobility problems have very few options. Professional caregivers are concentrated in towns. Formal training costs around $300 USD, which is out of reach for most rural families, and many people do not even know such training exists.

The result is that elderly parents and grandparents go without the care they need, and willing family members and neighbours lack the skills to help safely.
